The first photo is a Moen shower valve that went bad. The customer wanted to replace it with a Delta shower valve. What’s unique about this particular installation is that there’s no access behind the wall so the client was upset. We were able to put this larger cover plate on the second photo which allowed us more access from the front to replace the valve. We eliminated the need for the customer to hire a drywall technician and cabinet contractor. There were cabinets behind the wall, and we could not cut into them without damaging the cabinets. So we eliminated that problem by doing everything from the front wall, and the solution was that larger cover plate on the second photo. The customer was super happy, and we saved them a lot of time and money.
